Dog Days of Summer
Thank you for your interest in supporting this year’s “Dog Days of Summer” event!
Dog Days of Summer is a fun-filled day of pet and family-friendly entertainment, food, vendors, games and more! The event will take place in the green space on the campus of Zane State College.
As a sponsor or vendor at this event your business will be sending the message that you support the mission of The Animal Shelter Society, Inc., a non-profit, adoptable, no-kill animal shelter serving Zanesville and Muskingum County.
You will also gain valuable exposure for your business to the hundreds of pet parents who attend the event - and the thousands that follow us on social media!
At the event you will have an assigned 10’ x 10’ spot. You are responsible for supplying tent/tables/chairs and any other items needed for your display.
Set up on the day of the event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and all set up must be completed by 10:45 a.m. More details regarding set up details will be emailed the week prior to the event.
We encourage all sponsors & vendors to donate a raffle prize worth $25 to $50, such as a gift card or basket for our raffle.
Food vendors must have all of the necessary permits displayed at the event.
Network Marketing Vendors: Only one vendor per brand will be permitted and will be determined on a first-come, first-confirmed basis. Vendors must be family friendly. The Animal Shelter Society, Inc. reserves the right to decline any vendor.
Sponsorship Levels:
$25 “Puppy Love” Level: Receive promotion on our social media
$50 “Love the Mutt You’re With” Level: Promotion on our social media & website, mentions at the event AND a vendor spot
$100 “I Like Big Mutts” Level: Promotion on our social media & website, mentions on our local media promotion, flyer or coupon included in our “swag bags” given to the first 100 guests AND a vendor spot.
(Vendor spots do not have to be utilized by sponsors)
Vendor fee is $35 - additional 10x10 spaces are available for an extra $25 fee per space
Non-Profits may participate FREE of charge!
Vendors are responsible for providing their own set up, including table(s), chairs, tent and any other items needed for display. Tents must be WEIGHTED or STAKED. NO ELECTRIC AVAILABLE - you may bring your own generator if needed. Set up will begin at 9:00 a.m. and all vendors must be fully moved in by 10:45 a.m. Vendors will not be permitted to move out of the event until it is complete at 2:00 p.m. An email with specific details regarding set up instructions will be sent to the vendor the week prior to the event.
NON-LIABILITY: It is expressly understood and agreed by each vendor and its employees, agents, guests and invitees (collectively, “Vendor”) that neither The Animal Shelter Society, Inc. or its managers, sponsors, employees, members, board of directors, contractors, invitees, guests, agents or any of their respective employees, contractors, invitees, guests or agents (collectively, “ASSI”) shall be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to the person, goods, equipment, or property of any Vendor. At all times such goods, equipment, and property remain the sole possession, control and responsibility of the Vendor. On signing the contract, Vendor releases and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ASSI from any suit, claim, loss, cost, expense, liability, property damage and/or bodily or personal injury resulting in whole or part from actions or inactions on the part of the Vendor, its agents, and/or its guests.
