Kennel Technician
(Part-Time)

This position is part-time and is responsible for the daily care of the animals in their assigned area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: kennel/cage cleaning, exercising animals, bathing animals, feeding/watering, laundry, assisting customers and monitoring the condition of the animals in their assigned area. Must be comfortable working with cats, dogs and other animals. The Shelter operates every day of the year and employees must be able to work a flexible schedule. 

Qualifications:  Must be at least 18 years old.

Veterinary Technician
(Part-Time)

The position of Registered Veterinarian Technician at The Animal Shelter Society, Inc. will provide assistance to veterinarians with surgeries and in providing medical care to animals. RVT will also assist other Shelter staff as needed with assessing and handling animals in all areas of the Shelter and will be subject to working in all areas of the Shelter. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assisting with spaying/neutering of animals, assisting with other medical procedures, assist with Wellness Clinic, maintain cleanliness of surgical area, maintain surgical equipment, assist with maintaining and monitoring drug and supply inventories, administer medications and comply with all laws required for a RVT by the State of Ohio. The Shelter operates every day of the year and employees must be able to work a flexible schedule. Salary to commensurate with experience.
